Decent restaurant with tasty dishes.

Awesome restaurant - vegetarians can also find special delicacies here. My absolute favorite is the vegetable schnitzel with Gorgonzola sauce. A poem! The mushroom pan is also lovely. The home brewed beer is great too. Nice and attentive service, you would love to come back. We are really looking forward to the reopening after the renovation and are very excited.

On holidays there is always something special to choose from, including as a whole menu. The food is prepared and served with love. There is absolutely nothing to complain about about the service, the service is always quick and very friendly. We always like to come back!

The Gasthaus zur Schauenburg is a traditional restaurant. I have always come here with my family all my life, from infancy onwards. The Chili con Carne ala Tex Mex is an absolutely unbeatable dish that has several decades of consistently high quality under its belt. But other dishes are also highly recommended. With several decades as a satisfied guest, you can see dishes coming and going. What I really miss are the flat soup and curry Seychelloise and the paving stone, but there are more than enough alternatives. The waitresses are always friendly and on the go, even when things get crowded, e.g. on Christmas holidays. Thank you for many years of fine tasting and the world's best roasted onions

An inn with a long tradition, unfortunately only open on weekends. Therefore you can enjoy the only delicious, good bourgeois cuisine in Dossenheim at a fair price, not more during the week. Service always friendly and accommodating.

The inn is nicely decorated, you can sit outside and the food is good, but not outstanding, although very nice things on the menu. But the prices are fair, only the service seemed a bit overwhelmed.

I liked it very much. Also, the atmosphere is kind of nice, carpets on the floor and a lot of knightly on the walls and to gray beer. The wild goulash is sweet, you have to like it.

One of our regular regular restaurants (birthdays, business lunches, Christmas, etc.). For years, constant and above-average quality as far as the dishes are concerned, but also precisely because the dishes are always a little unusual and individual. In principle, a German kitchen that is inspired by a certain internationality. Especially recommended are the Schauenbörger, the Churrassco plate (very spicy) and the Schweitzer pan. Meanwhile, home-brewed beer is also offered, really delicious !! Prices are in the medium price level to slightly below, but still in quality without compromise! If there is a lot going on, it can sometimes take a while to order, personally I have never been bothered because you like to wait for good food if it stays within limits! Please keep it up in this style!

Expensive but worth the money. The food is really extraordinary and prepared with great care. Also, the plates are very big. The choice for vegetarians is okay, but not exceptional.
